The Fire Department responds to emergency and non emergency situations involving any fire for possibility of fire explosions, collapsed structure, odor or leaks of natural gas, and many other things.

The Bethany Fire Department is testing for qualified applicants for the position of an Entry Level Firefighter. Those with firefighting experience, training, knowledge and education are strongly encouraged to apply. Applicants must be able and willing to work 24 hour shifts, weekends, and holidays. Detailed Bethany Firefighter Job Description
Minimum Qualifications: High School graduate, current CPAT certification, current NREMT certification,Firefighter I and possess an Oklahoma Class D Drivers license.An extensive background check will be conducted; those with a felony conviction will not be considered.Starting pay is $2,372.00 per month.
