Please fill out a Special Event Permit and return it to Specialevents@bethanyok.org. No permit will be issued without proper insurance for the event. Road closure fees can be found in the City's Fee Schedule located under the government tab.
Bethany Boom Parade and Fireworks
The City of Bethany will host the annual Bethany Boom Parade and Fireworks on Saturday, July 4, 2026, in celebration of Independence Day. This year we also celebrate the 250th Anniversary of America's Independence AND the 100th Anniversary of Historic Route 66.
The parade will begin at 10:00 a.m. in downtown Bethany on Historic Route 66. The fireworks display begins at 9:55 p.m. Parking will be available at Eldon Lyon Park, weather permitting. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and watch the fireworks with your family and friends.
Parade Entry Registration and Sponsor Commitment Forms are available by clicking the link below. You can also pick up forms at Bethany City Hall located at 6700 NW 36th Street in Bethany. Completed Parade Entry Registration forms should be returned by June 15 to be included in the lineup.

Citywide Yard Sale 2026
The Citywide Free Yard Sale will take place between June 11th and June 14th and will require no paid permit to the City of Bethany.
