Bethany Boom Parade and Fireworks

The City of Bethany will host the annual Bethany Boom Parade and Fireworks on Saturday, July 4, 2026, in celebration of Independence Day.  This year we are celebrating the 250th Anniversary of America's Independence AND the 100th Anniversary of Historic Route 66.

The parade will begin at 10:00 a.m. in downtown Bethany on Historic Route 66.    The fireworks display begins at 9:55 p.m.  Parking will be available at Eldon Lyon Park, weather permitting.  Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and watch the fireworks with your family and friends.  Please note the following changes this year as you make plans to attend:

* * Mueller Ave between NW 39th Expy & NW 41st is closed due to the church’s construction on their main parking lot.

* * Glade Ave between NW 36th & NW 39th Expy will be closed the afternoon of July 4 until after the fireworks.

* * The fireworks will be launched from Thompkins Ave this year.  Thompkins Ave between NW 39th Expy & NW 50th will be closed July 4.
